Time clock.
Clock-in terminals, portal for the team and for HR, requests, leave and the annual leave map in PDF. In production at both companies, managing HR for more than 20 people.

- 2companies on the same platform: one shop and five dive centres
- 20+people with hours and leave on the platform
- 6clock-in terminals: Windows POS and Mac laptops, with PIN and device key
- 22default leave days, balance and annual map in PDF
Starting point
Two companies, one shop and five dive centres in different places, needed to meet the legal obligations of working-time records and the annual leave map without buying a generic, expensive system designed for offices. Clock-ins on paper, leave in messages, expenses in envelopes and the leave map done by hand at year end.
What we built
Clock-in terminals that run on the point-of-sale computer and on each centre’s laptops: code and PIN, full-screen confirmation with the name in large type, offline contingency mode and a device key that prevents copying the installation to another machine.
A portal for the team (daily and monthly times, correction requests, leave and absences, documents and payslips) and another for HR (who is working, pending items decided on the spot, annual leave map in PDF as required by the Labour Code). Multi-company with its own branding, two-step authentication for HR, a full audit trail and personal data visible only to those who should see it.
What changed
The shop and the five dive centres clock in on the terminals, and the working-time records and leave map meet the law without end-of-month work. Correction requests and leave now have a place, with a recorded answer. The leave map comes out as a PDF, ready to post.
Next step
Already built and tested, entering both companies in the next phase: shifts (templates and weekly patterns, a grid per site, apply and copy weeks), advanced clock-in rules (minimum break, automatic closing of forgotten clock-outs, warnings to the employee) and employee expenses (receipt by photo or PDF, categories and mileage, HR approval). Automatic reading of receipts is prepared for the following version.
